Facts
A PAP test does NOT detect Ovarian Cancer
Women of ALL ages are at risk
You can get a rare form of Ovarian Cancer even if you have had a total hysterectomy
Women who experience these symptoms almost daily for more than a few weeks should see their gynecologist. They should also ask their doctor about the CA-125 blood test and ask to explore ultra-sound options. If surgery is indicated, it is imperative that a gynecological oncologist perform the surgery.
